The Biggest Loser: Tittle Edition
Coming soon to a blog near you!
The Biggest Loser: Tittle Edition
The Sydster vs. Daddy Duff...
In case you couldn't tell, this is serious!
The two stubborn Tittle's go head to head with the hopes of a much needed health & lifestyle change.
Round 1 begins tomorrow (June 20, 2011) and ends July 15, 2011 (The day we leave on our family trip to California.)
Now here's the incentive:
If I lose the highest percentage of weight by July 15th then Dad has to buy me a Golds Gym Pass. If Dad loses the highest percentage then I have to go back to work at Harmons Grocery Store.
Who's with me!? Team Sydney!
I need your support!
Check here for weekly updates!
Check tomorrow, June 20th for more details and the beginning photos.

The new "do"
The bangs may just drive me nuts.
But I'm a fan anyways.
The mother is a genius!
Thank goodness for free hair cuts!
task #36 + task #37 + 1:13am = a VERY sleepy and quite possibly senile SYDNEY
Task #36 was completed today as I spent part of the day and the rest of the evening introducing some of my favorite old films to the darling little sister...
...you know... the darling teenager who let me fro her hair and mold her into my lovely little model?
Yeah, that one.
First, we watched Breakfast at Tiffany's
We drooled for some time over Audrey's impeccable style and grace... ooo and not to mention the darling George Peppard and that magical kiss in the rain. I do believe that the little sister was dazzled by the experience.
And for myself?...still completely obsessed with the film.
And with Audrey Hepburn.
I've always wanted to be a lady like her... (a lady like my own grandmother even)... You know, those classy women who wear hats to church and don't do anything without first putting their lipstick on. So beautiful. So classy. One day that will consistently be me.
After Breakfast at Tiffany's, we ran to the "Health Food Store" where we grabbed some local honey to help decrease my terrible allergies (a sweet friend and sort of neighbor introduced the idea to me, we'll see how it works!) We then got summer snow shaved ice (yummy.) and hurried home to enjoy, YET another movie together. I decided to introduce her to one of my favorite Musical films of all time. A show that I knew almost all the songs to before ever seeing the show.
Singin' in the Rain
Love the music
Love Gene Kelly
Love Debbie Reynolds (one of the most darling actresses of all time)
Love everything...
Such a funny show.
Turns out this is the little sisters "new favorite movie!"
I KNEW she would love it!

After the movies we shoved down some delicious dinner and I then I finished task #37 as we watched and sang along to Hairspray.
Here was what I did:
Task #37: Make an item of clothing without a pattern.
Pretty rough... but hey... I can at least wear it to the pool over my swimming suit.
The more I Sew... the better I'll get at it. Make sure to check back here and there for new projects!
Well folks, It is almost 2 am and I am beat...
And apparently I have baby hands in this picture.... I'm feeling all sorts of awkward.
task #36 + task #37 + 2:01am = a VERY sleepy and quite possibly senile SYDNEY
Off to bed for me!
Goodnight.

the day I contracted Alzheimer's disease... or maybe just a case of severe forgetfullness.
yes.
Today i forgot almost every constructive and quite important thing I was supposed to do.
okay... it wasn't THAT bad but I seriously forgot a few important things that were supposed to happen today.
Here's a bit of what has been on my mind.
I remember how awesome my mom was growing up. She successfully trained me in the ways of brilliance by teaching me a few life-altering secrets... Some of them including:
a. Drinking milk is good for your bones
b. Eating carrots helps your eyes
c. Spinach will give you popeye muscles
(How did popeye get his name?... I'd say he's more of a buttchin)
(How did popeye get his name?... I'd say he's more of a buttchin)
Well... the question I pose today after a successful epic fail of a day is:
What the heck can I do to to prevent severe forgetfullness (or maybe even an early case of Alzheimers)?
Where's Momma when you need a question like THAT answered?
My current solution:
1. Write everything down...
But in today's case... what if I wrote it down and STILL forgot?
Just call me Dory.
And then send me to a TRIPLE A MEETING where I can confess the issues that consume my life.
It's early alzheimers... I swear.
Oh, and after you do that you could seriously shoot me some advice.
